OUR PROGRAMS

After being warmly welcomed from carline, our students engage in morning meetings followed by centers, playground time, art projects, a weekly visit to our Specials (STEAM Lab, Spanish, Music & Movement, & Library/Storytime), snack/lunch, and a Circle Time that includes a weekly Bible lesson. Overview

As a Preschool of Excellence, we offer classes for children, ages 12 months through Kindergarten, in 2 - 5 day programs from either 9 am - 12 noon or 9 am - 1 pm. We strive to provide a caring and loving Christian environment where God’s precious little ones can grow, develop, and learn through a variety of activities and experiences provided on a daily basis. We are also committed to laying the building blocks of learning which will provide a strong foundation and encourage each child to be a lifelong learner.

Kindergarten (Age 5 by September 1st)

Our kindergarten class, taught by a Georgia certified teacher, is a challenging class designed to prepare each child for 1st grade and to reach their full potential. It takes place Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm.  This small class size in a half-day environment is a great setting for children to achieve amazing growth. Our curriculum includes: Math—Guiding Kinders; Language Arts - Trophies-Harcourt & Phonics by Saxon; Science & Social Studies-Thematic Units; Weekly Readers; Bible lessons integrated throughout the curriculum; Field Trips; Extended Specials; and Chapel.  Students also enjoy their packed lunch every day.

Pre K (Age 4 by September 1st)

In Pre-K, we work toward Kindergarten readiness. Embracing a play to learn philosophy we incorporate learning centers that encourage independent learning as well as small group instruction and social interactions. We introduce Pre-reading skills using Zoo Phonics. Math is integrated through the use of sorting, graphing, and manipulatives. Students begin to journal and enjoy daily writing centers to build fine motor skills. Show N Tell builds communication skills and confidence.  Students enjoy a packed lunch every day.

Threes (Age 3 & Potty Trained by September 1st)

Our Threes work on fine and gross motor development including writing their name and cutting with scissors. Math and pre-reading skills are introduced through hands-on learning. Learning centers offer extra enrichment opportunities for children to experience the fun of learning in a more structured environment while still engaging in play. We also introduce Zoo Phonics! Students enjoy a packed lunch every day.

Twos (Age 2 by September 1st)

Our Twos work on school readiness skills including; sharing, taking turns, walking in a line, recognizing their name, Circle Time, fine and gross motor experiences. We encourage language development through shared experiences and work on color, shape, number, and name recognition. Play is an important part of our day! We have a Tuesday/Thursday (2 day), Monday/Tuesday/ Thursday (3 day), and Monday-Thursday (4 day) option for our 2s.  New for the 2023 - 2024 academic year: all of our Twos classes will go from 9am - 1pm.

Toddlers (Age 18 - 23 months by September 1st)

In the Toddler program, we work on school readiness skills such as learning to take turns, sitting together in a circle or group, and getting along with others in our class. We emphasize concepts such as colors, shapes, and language development through the use of well-balanced curriculum.  Toddlers enjoy plenty of hands-on STEAM activities and art projects as well as a lot of gross motor play.

Wee Ones (Age 12 - 17 months by September 1st)

In our Wee Ones program, we enjoy a lot of hands-on, experiential learning, active play, and learning through singing.  We incorporate basic sign language throughout the day to encourage communication.  We emphasize concepts such as colors, shapes, and language development through the use of well-balanced curriculum.  With a small class size (6 students, 2 teachers), our Wee Ones enjoy plenty of 1-on-1 attention and nurturing.
