TUITION & ENROLLMENT

2024-2025 Enrollment

 Thank you for your interest in SBCA!  Please note the enrollment dates and information below. Registration is ongoing, but space is limited and spots are first come, first serve.

  • February 5Current SBCA students, siblings, and Summit family members register through Brightwheel.

  • February 12:  Registration opens to the public. See instructions below.
    ***New families must tour before registering.

Enrollment Information & Instructions
  • Applications open on the dates listed above.

  • A separate online application must be completed for each child you wish to enroll.

  • Applicants are placed into classes in the order in which applications are received--including the payment of the non-refundable registration fee. Should space not be available, we will contact you within 48 hours to refund your prepaid registration fee or offer a secondary option if available.

  • Children must be the age of the class registered for on or before September 1st. 

  • Children enrolled in 3 & 4-year old classes must be completely potty trained.

  • New families must tour before registering.

  • Each new student will be admitted under a probationary period for 30 school days. 

  • Kindergarten is for students who have turned 5 years old by September 1st. 

  • Please note: the registration fee is non-refundable and secures a spot for your student for our 2024-2025 school year.

  • Summit Baptist Christian Academy generally follows the Cobb County calendar and weather schedule throughout the school year. The first day of school is August 12, 2024 and the last day is May 10, 2025.

  • School hours are from 9am to 12pm for our Wee Ones and Toddlers. Our ’s, 3s, Pre-K 4s and Kindergarten are 9am to 1pm.

  • Students (2s and above) must bring lunch daily and will eat lunch as part of their day. *We will not have lunch the first week of school, Cobb County conference week, the week prior to Christmas break, or the last week of school.

  • Tuition may be paid annually or by using the nine payment installments. Monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month and late after the 10th of each month. The first payment is due August 1st or the first day of school and the final payment of nine is due April 1st .

 

Instructions:

  1. When registration opens, you may click HERE or on the APPLY TO SBCA! button.

  2. Set up your Brightwheel Account.

  3. Complete an application (separate application for each child).

  4. Within 24 hours, an enrollment agreement will be sent to you--please read & sign upon receipt.

  5. After the above steps are completed, we will place your student in a class and bill the registration fee through Brightwheel. An invoice will be sent directly to you through Brightwheel AND as an email--you will be able to note which class your student has been placed in for the 2024-2025 school year.

  6. Make your non-refundable registration fee payment via Brighwheel.

  7. Upon receipt of your registration fee, we will follow up within 72 business hours with a confirmation of enrollment!

Enrollment Requirements
  • Tour: Any new family registering is required to schedule a tour prior to Registering. Tours are scheduled by appointment only and take about 20-30 minutes. The whole family including children possibly enrolling are required to attend the tour.

  • Registration fee is paid annually and is non-refundable. SBCA will not accept registration for the following year from students that are behind in their tuition payments or have unpaid charges.

  • Enrollment Agreementlinked HERE. All enrolling families must read and then sign indicating they understand and agree to the policies therein.

  • Documentation including the child’s birth certificate or passport and current Georgia 3231 Immunization record must be provided for enrollment.

  • Tuition is a yearly rate. For your convenience, you may pay over 9 consecutive installments beginning August 1st. All tuition must be paid in full by April 10th. There is a separate, non-refundable registration fee that must be paid to secure your child’s spot at SBCA.

  • Withdrawal: Any student needing to withdraw must provide a 30-day paid, written notice to the Director and clear the account. The next payment will be expected if a 30-day notice is not provided. Any pre-paid tuition will be refunded within 60 days. Withdrawing after January 1st will require the remainder of the year to be paid in full.

  • Special Needs: SBCA makes every effort to serve all children, however, we may lack the
    necessary resources to accommodate special needs children.

Additional Forms

Families may upload the following required forms via Brightwheel under the "Forms/Requests" tab.  They may also be scanned/emailed to angela.york@summitchurch.org, faxed to 770-702-8054, or dropped by the children's preschool office Monday through Thursday from 9am-1PM.

New Student Forms:

  • Kindergarten Students must provide Vision/Hearing screening completed by physician when they turn 5.

  • Must forward all updates to GA 3231 Immunization Form.
